My first flight lesson was yesterday. It went very well. The lesson was in a Cessna 150, a 2-seater that is very light and small.
It was 100+ degrees in Phoenix yesterday, so it was a bumpy ride. There were quite a few rising heat thermals. That combined with a small crosswind knocked the plane around a bit.
But all-in-all I did very well. We only worked on banking maneuvers. I didn't have a problem keeping the ball centered, even with the thermals and crosswind.
My next lesson is on Wednesday.

Taking lessons that fast you'll have no trouble getting fly time under your belt.

I looked up the Cessna 150. Sweet plane! I could see one with a VR bat on the side flying around.
Hell the cost for one isn't that bad at all.

Morrigon is on to something. Do we see a future Vampire Rave business expense? Flying around promoting the site? Think of the write off you could take on your taxes. Just saying. lol

I may end up buying a Cessna 150. A nicely equipped one runs under $20,000. They only have 2 seats, and they don't go that fast (a little over 100 knots, or 115 mph), but they're good for building time in. They also hold their value well so I could later sell it or trade it in on a bigger airplane.

Wow so cool. Babe, you are so ambitious, you make me feel like a slug. haha.....man!
I have thought how cool it would be to do something like this so that I could get over my fear of flying. If only I could be in control...
